About the Team at Mark's Garage

With over 28 years’ mechanical experience, Mark is an expert in working on all types of vehicles – although his passion lies with Land Rovers, and he owns several himself. Mark completed his mechanical apprenticeship whilst serving with the RAF, during which time he worked on a range of vehicles including the Series IIa, Series III, Defender 90s and 110s, as well as specialist vehicles such as ambulances, armoured vehicles, fire engines and HGVs. Following a stint working in IT, Mark decided to return to his trade, setting up his own garage.

Jude has a background in retail, and has worked in a wide range of shops, from small independent stores to large national chains. She also has a Business degree, majoring in computing, and it’s these two specialisms she brings to Mark’s Garage. With experience in retail, IT buying, logistics, customer service – and a keen sense of humour! - Jude has the expertise needed to look after the office side of the business.

The dogs

Roxy is a Pointer/Lurcher cross, and is about 5 years old. She’s a lively dog who loves nothing more than playing with her ball and cuddles.

Sofi is a kind-hearted Staffy, estimated to be a least 7 years old. She’s quieter than Roxy, but hugely affectionate.

Both Roxy and Sofi are rescue dogs from the Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home, and are an integral part of the Mark’s Garage family as they welcome customers to the office.
